On the 256th day of the year, Developer’s Day is celebrated. Why is it celebrated on this precise day of the year? Easy. 256 is the number of distinct values that can be represented with an eight-bit byte. Despite being celebrated all over the world, this date was celebrated for the first time in Russia, where this day is a holiday for programmers.
